Tips for your medicine cabinet
A well-assorted medicine cabinet is essential. Small injuries such as lacerations and abrasions easily happen during everyday housework or when children play. Your medicine cabinet should therefore include pain-killers as well as wound healing products.
Keep your medicine cabinet in a dry and cool place. Also protect your medicines from direct sunlight. Moisture and heat can cause medicines to deteriorate and become considerably less effective.
Medicines are best kept in a lockable and therefore childproof medicine cabinet. Check the contents of your medicine cabinet at least once a year to make sure you have everything, and dispose of any medicines that are out of date.
